Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The French term “laïcité” is a shimmering one. While France is a lay republic, the religiously neutral Austria grants public law status to religious communities. The two States seem to represent different approaches. With reference to the topics of marriage, the status of religious communities, religion in public space and religious signs, this assumption will be challenged.
