Aims, contents and method of the course
This class with is taught in English is building on the knowledge of Part I and provides for the opportunity to dicuss topics currently of major importance for the internationals human rights system. It¿s major focus is on subjects such as efficient prevention of human rigths violations, measures against impunity fo serious human rigths violations and concequences of terroism and the figths against terrorism for human rigths and woman¿s rigths issues.
Assessment and permitted materials
Mündl.- Mitarbeit, beteiligung an einer Simulation einer Sitzung des Frauenrechtskommitees der Vereinten Nationen und schriftl. Klausur.

Examination topics
Case studies and practical examples will be used to deal with the normativ content of the human rigths conserned as well as with the (quasi-) judical and politicl-diplomatic mechanisms for the enforecement of human rigths.
