Interessent*innen werden gebeten, zusätzlich zur Anmeldung über u:find ein kurzes Motivationsschreiben (3-4 Sätze) an uns zu schicken, in dem Sie angeben, weshalb Sie das Seminar interessiert, eventuell auch, ob Sie bestimmte Themen besonders interessieren (eine Themenliste wird in der ersten Stunde bekanntgegeben werden), sowie auch, ob Sie die MP Zivilverfahrensrecht schon absolviert haben. Wir betonen, dass diese Prüfung NICHT Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme am Seminar ist; Ihre Antwort soll uns nur später die Zuweisung eines geeigneten Referatsthemas erleichtern.

Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar is aimed at students at an advanced stage of their studies; it is not suitable for first-year students. Topics from the history of civil procedural law will be dealt with in individual presentations. The topics range from procedural law in the Middle Ages and early modern times to the ZPO 1898 in force today and the amendments to civil procedure in the 21st century.
Assessment and permitted materials
Seminar participants are required to give a 20-minute presentation (12 and 13 June) and to write a paper (by 31 August).
