Registration and prerequisites for participation in the seminar: Please pre-register for the seminar via U:SPACE. The seminar is only open to students who have passed their final exam in criminal law and criminal procedure (of whatever country; in Austria: Modulprüfung). Assets are knowledge in international law and / or human rights. The final decision who can participate in the seminar will be taken in the preliminary meeting (8 March).Students have to write a seminar paper on a specific topic, present their paper in an oral speech and take part in the discussions. Participation in the preliminary meeting, mid-term meeting and final session is obligatory.In addition, a field trip to The Hague will be organised. It will take place between 8 and 10 May 2017 and participation is limited! It is not obligatory to participate in the field trip in order to pass the seminar. Further information will be given in the preliminary meeting.
