Aims, contents and method of the course

Lectures and invited lectures by experts in criminology:
Scope and methods of criminology, phenomena of crime, recorded crime and dark number, social and legal reactions to criminality, major crime theories, discussion of political decisions concerning crime prevention.

Assessment and permitted materials

Final written exam (multiple choice and open questions) on 17th June 2019. To pass the course you need a score of 25 (of max. 50).

All lectures including invited lectures. The presentation documents will be provided.
