Aims, contents and method of the course

Overview of the history and development of incarceration, presentation of pre-trial detention, imprisonment and protective measures (especially conditions of incarceration, treatment, working conditions, vocational training, security measures, release and aftercare).

Assessment and permitted materials

Multiple choice test on January 24th, 2025 and in early March 2025.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

at least 50% correct answers

Examination topics

The exam will comprise of the themes covered throughout the lectures. The presentations used during the lectures will be made availabe via moodle.
