Aims, contents and method of the course
Basic terms and scope of application of IHL and Human Rights Law; Protection of Persons during armed Conflict; Methods and Means of Combat; Inplementation and Enforcement of IHL; The role of the Red Cross Movement; Application of IHL by International Arbitral Courts.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participants should have a basic understanding of contemporary problems of internationa humanitarian law at the end of this course.
