Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim is to deal with recent decisions on private international law and procedural law. Students will learn to contextualise decisions and to present the most important points orally and in writing in a structured way.

There are suggestions for topics from the seminar leader; the participants can alternatively bring in their topics on private international law and procedural law.

Methodologically, the course is based on a combination of oral, interactive and written work. The students present their topic orally, write a paper and participate in the discussion of their topic and the topic of the others.

Assessment and permitted materials

Grading is based on the oral presentation and the seminar paper. Students are motivated to use legal databases and library. Any support is permitted.
