Aims, contents and method of the course
The core of the seminar consists of a discussion of Christoph Menke’s most recent, and possibly major, work, Theory of Liberation. It posits that freedom is manifest in processes of emancipation. In addition, the seminar offers an introduction to basic understandings of freedom (e.g., non-interference, non-domination, autonomy and its paradox).

seminar paper of roughly 12-15 pages, unless you decide to prepare a „Diplomseminararbeit“ and oral presentation on a topic of the seminar,
