Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar covers current questions of IT and IP Law from a comparative point of view with Germany. It will be held in cooperation with Prof. Thomas Hoeren from the University of Münster (https://www.itm.nrw/organisation/prof-dr-thomas-hoeren/)

Every student will be matched with a partner from Germany that will cover the same topic from a German perspective. At the joint presentation in Vienna, comparative aspects should be the focus.

As part of the seminar, a seminar paper is to be written that can count as either a "Diplomandenseminararbeit" or a bachelor thesis.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written seminar paper and oral presentation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Written paper, oral presentation, active participation.
