application: e-mail to magret.altrichter@univie.ac.at between Oct. 7 and Oct. 11; your application shall include a short CV, a letter of motivation (one page, in English), ALL Roman Law grades (including Nicht genügend!), a list of non-mandatory classes (e.g., seminars) that you have taken so far, and statements concerning your command of English and your knowledge of Latin.

If more than 20 people apply, participants will be selected based on their applications. The names of accepted applicants will be announced on the homepage a few days before the first meeting. (Probably, there will be a waiting list of five applicants.)

Aims, contents and method of the course

Selection of team members and preparation for the 2015 International Roman Law Moot Court

Assessment and permitted materials

Grades will be based on the oral performance in class and the quality of the written assignments. Participants are expected to attend ALL classes and prepare for each class!

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Study of selected fields of Roman law; improvement of Roman Law knowledge; development of mooting skills.
