Aims, contents and method of the course
Goal: The students will know basics regarding the Spanish legal system and its legal institutions as well as Spanish legal terminology.Content: General Revision of Spanish Consitutional, Civil and Criminal law incl. legal doctrine.Methods: Spanish law will be analysed based on the revision of legislative texts (Spanish Constitution, Civil Code, Criminal Code etc), considering also legal doctrine, politics and legal practice.

Explication of the Spanish law shall provoce reflection and discussion among the students. They shall study the reading material which will be made available, actively participate in class discussion and write a short paper of about five pages about one of the topics discussed in class, so that they show their knowledge of the Spanish language and legal system both orally and in writing.

Oral participation in class, reflection paper of five pages, minimum presence of 80%
