Aims, contents and method of the course

Treaty and customary international law, acts of international organisations; the relationship between international and municipal law; subjects of international law; diplomatic protection; state succession; basic legal principles of international relations; human rights; international investment law; state responsibility.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Gaining of knowledge in the field of international law, its relationship to national law as well as its connection with international relations.

Examination topics

Elaboration of problems of international law through the discussion of cases. The conditions for a positive certificate will be agreed upon with the participants.
