Aims, contents and method of the course

The goal of the course is to refresh the areas from the public international law part of the FÜM I as well as to discuss the topic with regard to the final exam in public international law. / For the contents see the examination topics. / The basics of public international law will be elaborated through practical case exercises. In addition, selected areas of special public international law will be discussed. THE COURSE LANGUAGE IS GERMAN.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active Socratic (the exact schedule will be posted on Moodle) as well as a written final exam (practical case exercises and multiple-/singlechoice questions). Case books are permitted during the exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

51% in total. The grade is composed of active Socratic and the final exam to the extent of 50% each. In addition, there will be the possibility of collecting additional points through active participation in class, which will be added to the final score. The exact score chart will be published on Moodle.

Beham/Fink/Janik, Völkerrecht verstehen (Facultas 2015), chapters 1, 3, 4.3, 9, 11, 13.4., 14.3., 16.7.2., 16.7.3, 17.1. und 17.4. as well as selected materials to be published on Moodle.
