Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course introduces the sociology of law by Niklas Luhmann, leads over to economic sociology and then deals with "functional equivalents in labor law" on the basis of Austrian labor law, taking into account regulatory models elaborated in comparative law. The aim is to provide a basic understanding of the interplay between socio-political protection and economic policy aspects of order in the legal structuring of the employment relationship and labor relations. Finally, the interfaces of digitalization, sustainability and labor law in the people & culture management of companies will be illuminated.
Assessment and permitted materials
Es sind vier Reflexionsberichte zu verfassen. Anwesenheit ist bei dreien von vier Termine erforderlich, an einem der vier Termine darf gefehlt werden.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Jeder Reflexionsbericht zählt zu 25 % zur Gesamtnote. Es sind mindestens drei Berichte abzugeben.
