Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Enhancing intra- and interdisciplinary exchange on questions of climate law.

With this objective, the course is aimed at law students on the one hand, but is also intended to provide students of other fields of study with an introduction to the legal framework.

The course demonstrates that all areas of law can make a relevant contribution to tackling the climate crisis. Course units assigned to the different legal disciplines address the strengths and weaknesses of each area of law.

Interdisciplinary guest lectures provide students with knowledge of other disciplines. This exchange is essential in order to answer climate change-related questions comprehensively.
