Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is designed to introduce registrants to the aims and key aspects of English contract and tort law. The contract law section of the course spans the formation of a contract, contents, and remedies; whereas torts to the person, torts to land, negligence and remedies are among the topics broached in the tort law section of the course.The course’s instructor, Dr Vanessa Wilcox, LLM (Cantab), is the Secretary General of the European Law Institute. She has an active background in tort law.
Assessment and permitted materials
Continuous assessment constituting a written mid-term examination and a written final examination with the former composing 40% of one’s overall grade and the latter 60%.
