Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course focuses on the judicial cooperation in civil matters in the EU. Starting with an historical overview, we will discuss the various competences of the EU under the current Article 81 TFEU. After identifying the basic problems in cross-border civil disputes, we will present the EU's concepts and solutions.
Assessment and permitted materials
Participation during dass (30%), exam (70%).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Continuous presence is required; an exception may be made for compelling reasons.
