Aims, contents and method of the course
Providing an overview of the media resources available at the University of Vienna and the Faculty of Law. In addition to databases on Austrian law, special attention will be paid to important international databases. Through exercises and assignments, participants will learn how to deal with similar legal problems in different legal systems using the available legal databases.In addition, an introduction to academic writing will be provided. Methods of comparative law will also be presented and their useful application in the writing of legal texts explained.
Assessment and permitted materials
Open Book Assignment (35%), Test (35%), Participation (30%).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Durchgehende Anwesenheit ist erforderlich; bei wichtigen Gründen kann eine Ausnahme gemacht werden.
