Aims, contents and method of the course

Il corso propone:
1)storia, ruolo e funzioni delle singole principali magistrature di Roma repubblicana: dittatura, consolato, pretura, edilità, questura, tribunato della plebe.
2) storia, ruolo e funzioni del senato.
3) Funzioni delle diverse assemblee popolari, in rapporto ai diritti e doveri del cittadino romano.
4) Il Principato: sviluppi e cambiamenti istituzionali ad opera di Ottaviano Augusto
