Aims, contents and method of the course

Besprochen werden sowohl individual- als auch betriebsverfassungsrechtliche Aspekte von Digitalisierung und Nachhaltigkeit nach österreichischer Rechtslage, z. B. agile Arbeit unter Nutzung von IKT, wie auch aktuelle Rechtsakte der EU, z. B. zum Thema "KI" oder zur Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung.

Examination topics

Arbeitsrechtliche Bestimmungen von Relevanz für Digitalisierung und Nachhaltigkeit, österreichische Rechtslage und Unionsrecht. Thematisiert werden insb. der Einsatz von künstlicher Intelligenz, algorithmisches Personalmanagement und Betriebsverfassung, datenschutzrechtliche Aspekte des Personalmanagements, Plattformarbeit, Einführung neuer Arbeitsmethoden, Telearbeit/Homeoffice, Restrukturierung, transparente und vorhersehbare Arbeitsbedingungen, Whistleblowing, Entgelttransparenz, Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung, Förderung ökologischer und sozialer Nachhaltigkeit im Betrieb, Betriebsvereinbarungen über menschengerechte Arbeitsgestaltung.
