Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The students acquire skills to impart basic public law and criminal law knowledge to non-lawyers (mainly schoolchildren). In addition, the students train soft skills (especially their rhetorical and social skills). The students hold workshops in schools in teams of two.

The basic module (course 030387) deals with rhetoric and legal didactics, tailored to the target group of the students. In the content modules (course 030463), the participants are primarily prepared for the workshops in the schools with their own presentations.

To complete this course, you must attend both the basic module "Rhetoric and Legal Didactics" (course 030387) and the content module "Teaching: hands-on training" (course 030463).
Attention: It is necessary to register for BOTH courses (030387 + 030463) and also to apply through the Legal Literacy Project Vienna association. Link to register: https://www.legalliteracy.at/lehrtreffen-juridicum/
