Aims, contents and method of the course
Heart of Darkness - Colonial International Law around 1900Research and discussion on international colonial law in the Modern Times. Critical Study of different sources (international treaties, scholarship of international law, visual sources and literature)
Assessment and permitted materials
Oral presentation about a research topic during the seminar, regular attendance and participation at the seminar, finally written paper about the research topic. Deadline for handing in the paper: 30th September 2019
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Registration: Please send an email to renate.hoffmann@univie.ac.at until the 11th March 2019. The preliminary meeting will take place on the 13th of March 2019 in the room SEM 31.The seminar will be hold in English (!) on the 4th and 5th of April 2019.
