Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar is interdisciplinary and is organised in different groups with a particular focus. Students may choose a focus; credits are restricted to this focus.

Legal informatics: data protection and data security, "handy signatures"
Group European law/international law: international and European governance; consular law & Article 23 TFEU
Group research seminar: literature research & editing & sientific work
(IRIS2010; www.univie.ac.at/RI/IRIS2010)
In the research group, scientific research and editing should be trained on a praticial project.
Further, a platform is offered for discussion of current problems dealing with computers and law.
