Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course "Applied Mediation" has been providing insights into the work of mediators for many years and uses a role play to illustrate how mediation can take place in practice. Participants in the course are given the opportunity to experience mediation work from different perspectives (mediators, mediandes, observers). Special emphasis is placed on the preparation by the mediator, the different settings, co-mediation, the initial contact with the mediators, the mediator's attitude and conduct of the conversation as well as the practical implementation of the entire mediation process. Frequently occurring situations in mediation can thus be made visible in order to be better prepared for them in the future. Together with the participants of the course, the experienced role play is discussed and reflected upon.
