Aims, contents and method of the course
Introduction to legal methodology and to the work on legal cases in Constitutional Law/Civil Law/Criminal Law. Attendance is compulsory during the whole course; absence in one unit is permissible.
Assessment and permitted materials
One written exam and regular oral participation.
The exam (jointly for all courses - Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law) will take place at the end of the course, December 9th 2022 (exact time will be announced). If required, the exam can be repeated a few days later, on December 16th 2022.Unannotated editions of relevant statutes, handwritten annotations are not permitted.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance of the first unit is compulsory. For oral participation in each unit, a (+) will be awarded.

Examination topics
In each unit, cases will be provided in advance via moodle as a basis for discussions. Students are expected to prepare these cases in advance.
For a successful completion of the course, it is strongly advisable to study the recommended literature in advance in order to prepare the cases for the respective unit.
