Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture held in Remembrance Year 2018 is dedicated to synagogues:
— to those destoyed in the November Pogrom of 1938,
— to those damaged and misused thereafter,
— as well as to those still or again serving their original purposes.
The main focus will be issues of Jewish law, of state law of religion on the one hand, issues of state and international law concering the protection of cultural heritage on the other hand. A study outing is planned.
