Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
An overview of international adjudication covering the International Court of Justice, regional and specialized courts as well as international arbitration will be offered. Arbitration includes traditional inter-State ar-bitration and mixed arbitration involving also foreign corporations and individuals. As part of the class there will be an excursion to the Interna-tional Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Erwerb von Kenntnissen im Bereich des Völkerrechts, dessen Beziehung zum innerstaatlichen Recht sowie dessen Bedeutung in den internationalen Beziehungen.
Examination topics
Diskussion und Erarbeitung aktueller völkerrechtlicher Probleme entsprechend der spezifischen Form der Lehrveranstaltung.
