Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Presentation of the emergence and development of institutions as bodies responsible for jurisdiction in public law (administrative jurisdiction, constitutional jurisdiction) in Central Europe (focus on Austria, 19/20th century).

Assessment and permitted materials

There will be a written exam. The exam comprises 6 questions (3 each on the two subject blocks), five of which must be answered. Participants who can provide evidence of regular attendance (max. 1 absence) can delete another question.
For Students in Erasmus programs, the type and scope of the performance assessment are determined by individual agreement.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

In-depth study of specific questions of Austrian and European legal history.
The course can therefore be credited as a legal history specialization course - and of course also as an elective!

Examination topics

The subject of the exam is the content of the course units as well as the information in the literature given for exam preparation (study reading). Materials on the units and lists with the learning material will be made available on the learning platform "moodle" during the course of the event.
