Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Discussion and exchange of ideas are essential to academic work. For assignments in this course, you are encouraged to consult with your classmates on the choice of paper topics and to share sources.

Collaboration in written work is permissible, however, you should ensure that any written work you submit for evaluation is the result of your own research and writing and that it reflects your own approach to the topic. You must also adhere to standard citation practices. If you receive any help with your writing (e.g. feedback on drafts), you must also acknowledge this assistance.

Assessment and permitted materials

The requirements for the s paper are in line with the common practice at the Faculty of Law. Details and suggestions for your research work shall be provided via MOODLE.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

For reasons of collegiality and transparency within a group
performance records are also always - due to the strong development of the
of the current subject matter - weighted "comparatively" and
evaluated. This applies all the more to the novel method of
"home-learning".
Therefore, the grades for all courses will be registered after the
Home learning" period within the statutory correction period.

Examination topics

Reading list

A list of judgements of the ECJ and works of reference to be consulted before each class will be provided via the Moodle-system.
