Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Basics of IT, theory of information, lawyer's IT environment, Internet, legal information retrieval, legal knowledge representation (mark-up languages, automation of law), search techniques in Austrian and European information systems, legal applications (courts, law office, government), legal problems of information technology (ICANN, telecommunication, data protection, intellectual property, e-commerce and e-signature)Juristische Medienkompetenz I und II (skills in legal media I and II) will be taught and examined via e-learning.
