Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is designed to test your foreign language skills (English) and to prepare you for your ERASMUS stay (outgoing). The aim is to provide an insight into a variety of international and European law topics, with a focus on mastering the English language.
Assessment and permitted materials
Performance is assessed on the basis of tasks that test speaking (short presentation), reading, listening and writing (short essay). The assessment will consist of various tasks such as short presentations and a final written test. Dictionaries and legal texts are permitted.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance in the first session of the course is mandatory.
Positive completion of the final test, participation in class and the positive assessment of a further performance (short presentation) are required.

Examination topics
Knowledge of the English language (in the disciplines of listening, speaking, reading and writing) on legal topics in the context of the basics of international and European law.
