The problems with young offenders in prison

Intention:
To understand the need of a special criminal law ordered to young offenders, the understanding why young people become offenders

Method:
After first lectures the students will report to certain issues

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Bei der Aufnahme in die LV werden (nur im Falle zu zahlreicher Anmeldungen) Studierende bevorzugt, die bereits die VO "Grundlagen der Kriminologie" positiv absolviert haben.
Die Referate sind schriftlich bis eine Woche vor der mündlichen Präsentation auszuarbeiten. Dabei sind die Regeln der guten wissenschaftlichen Praxis, insbesondere die Zitierregeln einzuhalten.
Für die Präsentation sind eine ppt-Präsentation und / oder ein Handout vorzubereiten.
Darüber hinaus ist Mitarbeit verpflichtend. Zwei Wortmeldungen in der Lehrveranstaltung oder im Diskussionsforum auf moodle sind Voraussetzung für eine positive Bewertung.
Die Note setzt sich zu 3/4 aus dem Referat (bis zu 36 Punkte) und zu 1/4 aus der Mitarbeit (bis zu 12 Punkte) zusammen.
Pro Wortmeldung in der Lehrveranstaltung oder im Diskussionsforum (ausgenommen Verständnisfragen) erhalten Sie einen Mitarbeitspunkt.
Für Referat (Ausarbeitung, Vortrag und Handout bzw. Präsentation) gibt es maximal 36 Punkte.
Pro inhaltlichem Fehler werden 1-2 Punkte abgezogen, wird der Fehler trotz entsprechenden Hinweises bis zur Präsentation nicht korrigiert, erfolgt ein nochmaliger Punkteabzug (jedenfalls 2 Punkte für trotz Hinweises nicht durchgeführte Korrektur)
Inhaltliche Mängel, zu oberflächliche Recherche (bis -10) oder mangelhafte Gliederung (bis -5) oder nachlässige Aufbereitung (bis -5) werden mit insgesamt bis zu 20 Punkten in Abzug gebracht.

Noteneinteilung:
0 - 23 Punkte Nicht genügend
24 - 33 Punkte Genügend
34 - 40 Punkte Befriedigend
41 - 45 Punkte Gut
46 - 48 Punkte Sehr gut
