Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The grade is determined by three factors: regular attendance and active participation (students may miss not more than two sessions), a translation and critical commentary of a brief passage from Christian Wilhelm Dohm's famous treatise "Über die bürgerliche Verbesserung der Juden" (English-only speakers may help fellow-students) and a written exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The successful completion of the course is conditional on regular attendance, the translation and critical commentary of a short text and a pass in the written exam. The written exam makes up two thirds of the final grade.
