Aims, contents and method of the course

The course aims at providing students with the basic knowledge about the European Union law.

The course will use moodle and its web conferencing plugin BigBlueButton.

Assessment and permitted materials

One unseen, written, open book exam (90 minutes working time).

You may bring the Treaties (TEU, TFEU) as well as necessary regulations and directives.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

One exam must be positive.
Attendance for the main exam is mandatory.

Examination topics

Historical background and evolution of the treaties, the EU institutions, sources of EU law, legal status of the EU, law-making in the EU, judicial protection in the EU, internal market overview and free movement of goods and relevant case law respectively.
