Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course aims at providing the knowledge about the free movement of persons within the European Union. It covers the freedom of workers, the freedom of establishment, the freedom of services and the European citizenship. Besides dealing with the relevant treaty provisions, there will be an analysis of relevant case law concerning those above mentioned freedoms.

Assessment and permitted materials

One written exam (90 minutes working time):
1. Exam OR
2. Exam
The re-take exam should only give students with a negative grade the possibility to change that and for those who had been ill on the first exam or can provide another valid reason for not coming – but please inform us in advance of your absence!
NO special exams for Erasmus-students and NO special oral exams if the second exam is negative as well!

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

NO open book exam. But bringing the TEU and the TFEU as well as necessary regulations and directives is allowed, but NO other materials.
