Aims, contents and method of the course

Discussion of the most important questions in public international law, based on cases. Active participation is required. Main topics: sources of international law, subjects of internationla law, diplomatic & consular relations, international law and national law, basic rules of international relations, state responsibility

Assessment and permitted materials

Written tests, participation in discusssions

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students should get a deeper understanding of the special characteristics of public international law.

Examination topics

Discussion of main questions and cases in public international law, written solution of exam cases
