The methodology to approach discussion will revolve around comparative analysis of constitutional law of the EU, taking into account the influence of MS' constitutional order on the EU.
Students are encouraged to actively contribute to the constitutional systems of their member states. Historical considerations and comparative analysis of the constitutional law of selected Member States and their influence on EU constitutional law are then analysed and placed in context.
Current challenges for the European Union will be analysed and discussed on the basis of the principles of European constitutional law.
Furthermore, current legal and policy-related developments will be addressed and taken into account.
