Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Contents: Corporate law ( focused on the main emphasis of the examiners).
Methods: The course is held as an interactive lecture. The participants will be prepared for the corporate law questions of the PM Business Law on the basis of known exam questions.
Aims: To prepare students for the PM Business Law. The students should not only deepen their knowledge of corporate law, but also learn how to deal with the demands placed on them in the MP Corporate Law.

Assessment and permitted materials

The exam will be administered through a digital multiple choice test on Moodle.
The lecture exam is NOT the MP Corporate Law, but a separate form of performance review for self-assessment.
If you take the exam, the ECTS earned in the process will be documented in your collective transcript under the item "Interest Module".

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

At least 50% of the points must be achieved. An assessment is made by "participated with success" or "participated without success".

Examination topics

The focus is on the practically most important corporate forms: civil law partnership (GesbR), general partnership (OG), limited partnership (KG), limited liability company (GmbH) and joint stock company (AG). The fundamentals of the European joint-stock companies (SE), cooperatives (Genossenschaften) and European cooperative societies (SCE), non-profit-making associations (Ideelle Vereine) and the private foundation (Privatstiftung) will be briefly discussed.
