Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course will explore how Brazilian Labor Law evolved through time, what were its enduring pillars and how they have dramatically changed over the last five years. It will also explore possibilities for a comparison between Brazil and Austria, incentivizing students to develop some sense of Otherness and to use it to reflect upon their own realities.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active participation in the course and a final essay comprehending between 8,000 and 10,000 characters with spaces.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Participation in at least 50 % of attendance units (5 of 10); 40% of the grade is based on participation and 60% on the essay.
