Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The objective of this course is to develop a better understanding of international negotiations and why people negotiate, to understand reasons and types of conflict, to become familiar with underlying requirements of negotiations, to distinguish negotiation types and their underlying characteristics, to become familiar with using different negotiation strategies and tactics, and to become aware of individual and cultural differences shaping the negotiation process.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Objective of the course is to enable students to successfully understand and participate in international negotiations.
Examination topics
This interactive course ends with a final exam. In addition to the attendance of the lessons, negotiation simulations, written assignments, and a case study assignment will be essential for passing this course.
