Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course presents efficient techniques for programming in MatLab. The software can be used for different kinds of "big data" applications. In particular, econometric, financial and "big data" applications will be considered.
Assessment and permitted materials
1) Students will have several exercise sessions, where each student will be evaluated separately.
2) Subgroups of students will have projects for the duration of the course. Each student in a subgroup receives the same grade for the project.
Final grade = 0.5 Exercises + 0.5 Project
