Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The assessment is based on oral participation (10% = 8 points) and two written exams in German (45% each = 36 points each, duration of each exam: 90 minutes) at the end of the course. From 41 points the course is positively completed.The written exam consists of open questions and cases, which have to be worked on by the students independently.Law texts and non-electronic dictionaries may be used in the exams.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
In principle, attendance is compulsory throughout. Students may be released from compulsory attendance for a total of two units for good cause. In the 1st unit, attendance is compulsory without exception. Students who do not show up will be deregistered from the course unless there is an important provable reason for their absence.
