Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Two exams: midterm and final.
The final grade is calculated from the unweighted average of the two exam results.
Passing grades can generally not be earned by students who miss more than 10% of the total class-time.Conditional on legal and regulatory possibilities and the consent of the head of the faculty study programs, we strive to have examinations on-site. Students should therefore be advised to be available for such examinations. In case that this is possible, students who belong to one of the following groups,Members of groups at increased risk according to legislation (acc. to the definition by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection)
Students who work in healthcare and nursing
Students who live with persons belonging to risk groups or persons who work in healthcare of nursing in the same household
Students who care for persons belonging to risk group
Students who face restrictions on freedom of travel (regionally/nationally) or are self-isolating (quarantine) on the date of the exam/completion of the partial achievement
Students having care obligations who are indispensable due to the closure of schools or kindergartens, etc.,should contact the group’s office ahead of time to arrange a different exam type. When contacting the office, they may be asked to provide proof/evidence.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The objective of this course is to impart competent knowledge in Human Resources Management, with particular emphasis on incentive setting and coordination problems in the organization.
A good understanding of the concepts of the Management module is also helpful.

Examination topics
The midterm exam covers all material up to the exam date. The final exam covers all material after the midterm.
