Aims, contents and method of the course

Decision making by consumers and producers, demand and supply behaviour, market equilibrium, first and second theorem of welfare

Due to possible Covid-restrictions, lecture could be offered online, more details on Moodle.

Assessment and permitted materials

There will be a written midterm and a written final exam., In each of them you can get up to 1/3 of the total points. You can also get up to 1/3 of the total points during the exercise part of the course.
Due to the changed format this semester, evaluation will take a somewhat different form. Whether the exercise part is going to take place entirely online or (partly) in class, it will involve active participation, i.e., students will be required to solve problem sets over the course of the semester.
