Aims, contents and method of the course
This pro-seminar course is an opportunity to learn about empirical research in Economics and Social Sciences by reading academic papers, presenting them in class, and writing a short summary. By the end of this course, you will have a clear idea of the difference between superficial data use, as often seen in newspapers, and careful data analysis.
