Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Course Outline:
The course introduces the fundamentals of economic organization theory and personnel management. The economic theory of organization provides insights into the efficient design of organizational structures. However, the course also deals with the classical instruments of organizational design such as the bundling of tasks and the distribution of decision rights. It presents typical organizational structures and investigates the respective efficiency effects. The economic-theoretical foundations of design choices receive particular attention.
