This course serves - in addition to individual coaching - the presentation of the master's thesis and its discussion with other students who are writing their master's thesis. At the beginning of the course, presentation appointments will be made. Each student writing a master's thesis is required to attend a master's thesis conversatorium and give a presentation on the topic of the thesis (presentation time: 20- 30 minutes). There are two possibilities to write a master thesis:(A) Empirical master thesis
Structure of the lecture:
1. problem statement and method
2. theoretical foundations and hypotheses
3. empirical analysis (case studies or statistical analysis)
For the presentation, points 1. and 2. must already be worked out!(B) Literature review to a specific topic
1. problem statement and method (please choose one method according to Snyder 2019 - see moodle)
2. discussion of the chosen method in detail
3. presentation of preliminary resultsThe PowerPoint slides have to be uploaded to Moodle at least 1 DAY before the presentation (12.00)!
