Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course serves as case solution-oriented preparation for the lecture exam in Corporate Law. By means of small cases and cross-topic questions, students will gain a deeper understanding of the interrelationships relevant to corporate law. The focus of this course is the final exam preparation by working out the solutions to exam-like cases and enabling students to ask topic-specific questions in order to ultimately eliminate ambiguities before taking the exam.
A previous acquisition of the theoretical material by attending the accompanying lecture and by independently learning the literature relevant to the exam remains inevitable and represents the necessary prerequisite for attending this course.
The course dates are arranged in blocks and are oriented to the lecture-exam dates. The blocks before the individual examination dates are identical in terms of content.
Attendance of this course is only recommended in the semester of the planned start of the examination in Corporate Law for the respective block immediately before the examination.

Assessment and permitted materials

The performance review/assessment is based on two multiple-choice examinations (duration 45 minutes each) in German, the timing of which can be freely chosen by the students. The exams take place online in open-book format. There are 45 questions to be answered, for a positive evaluation at least 46 questions have to be answered correctly.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course is graded as "successfully attended" (+) or "unsuccessfully attended" (-).
There is no attendance requirement.

Please note that the assessment will take place within 4 weeks of the last unit.
