Aims, contents and method of the course
Proseminar in angewandter Ökonomie für fortgeschrittene Studierende (zweites und drittes Jahr BA).Behandelte Themen:- Klassische Wohlfahrtsökonomie (Erstes und zweites Wohlfahrtstheorem, Marktversagen, Theorie des Zweitbesten)- Umweltpolitik: Ziele (Effizienz, Räumliche und intertemporale Überlegungen, Schadensfunktionen)- Umweltpolitik: Instrumente (Command-and-Control, Coase-ähnliche Ansätze, marktbasierte Instrumente)- Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse (Intertemporale Wohlfahrtsökonomie, Risiko und Unsicherheit, Stern Review, Green Accounting)- Bewertung von Umweltleistungen (Compensating Surplus, Equivalent Surplus, Contingent Valuation)- Umweltpolitik unter unvollständiger Information- Internationale Umweltprobleme (Internationale Zusammenarbeit aus spieltheoretischer Perspektive, Klimawandel, Internationaler Handel & Umwelt)
